One should be very clear about what they'd like to manifest. It may help if some of your thoughts were written in a journal or planner. A good way to figure out what you'd like to change, attract or repel is by asking yourself about what is going on in your life and how you feel about it.
I would suggest reviewing your thoughts for a few minutes and then going outside and walk around barefoot in the grass to ground yourself to the energy of the earth.
After you feel grounded enough, you may want to light a candle or incense to set the mood. Then sit in a quiet space with your mala in hand. Bring it up to your heart, and take a few slow, deep breaths. With eyes closed, focus very deeply on your mantra, affirmation or the intention you'd like to manifest. You can repeat as many times as you like until you feel satisfied.
You will be reminded of your intention every time you see or wear your mala.
